St. Philips Junior Workshop is ideal for children and young adults to gain confidence, learn communication skills and take the first steps for potential careers in acting, music or theatre.  If such a career isn't advantageous to our members, we still provide a rewarding hobby in entertaining friends and family. Ages range from 6-18 and each year we put on one major performance, usually around November time, whilst also entering competitions, holding a summer school, cabaret evenings and some of the cast joining in with the senior production.

The Junior Workshop is looked after by dedicated volunteers who aim to provide the best singing, acting and dance coaching. We generally rehearse on Monday evenings from 18:30-19:45/20:00 with more focused rehearsals on individual parts or with smaller groups other nights of the week. At the Junior Workshop, we enjoy being able to produce some challenging shows and showed our capabilites with our recent production of Les Miserables (Nov. '12).
